It almost seemed magickal to finally get Duri pregnant after our previous attempts. We were beginning to worry! With both Victor and I being fans of the Harry Potter phenomenon, I decided to go for naming pups after the spells contained within the Harry Potter series...names such as Incendio, Ascensio, Evanesco, Lumos and Expecto Patronum.

Sire Solo is currently (10/2007) the #4 Borzoi in the Breed Rankings. He is a multiple Group Placer as well as being both an American and Canadian Group Winner. The mother, Duri, was a Top 15 ranked Borzoi in 2004.
